Well suicide is surely illegal in India!
They are not doing it in India. They are using our Neighbour's land for that 😀
 
Hah, but i will repeat again - going to Pak itself is suicide, which will have to be cancelled! 😀

In India Cricket rules in TV Broadcast, and though people dont watch domestic matches, International matches get good viewership. And due to this high viewers number, channel broadcasting international match, get good revenue in form of advertisement. Neo definitely lost big source of revenue, so its struggling to stay alive now.
 
The question is, what will bring them viewership? They were pathetic in covering the game that is followed by masses in this nation.......how will they cover the other sports?
 
They are gathering lot many sports content and will very soon convert Neo Prime to Neo Prime HD .



With the availability of sporting content in HD, Neo Prime will gradually adopt itself to the new format




Neo, the number two sports channel in the country, has been acquiring some of the biggest sporting events including UEFA Euro 2012, French Open, World Series Hockey, Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, Rugby World Cup in addition to the existing bouquet of Asia Cup, Davis Cup, US PGA Tour, BWF Badminton Super Series, Fed Cup, etc.
 
They are trying to be a niche non-cricket sports channel. Maybe will hope for a takeover in future.
 
Good decision by Neo to rename Cricket channel to "Prime". But they need to aggressive in getting content as they have fight with many big players like ESS, TEN, and Sony as well.
 
They are pretty much out of the race in cricket, so I see no point in targetting Star & Ten Cricket. They should and would probably aim to be No.1 Non-Cricket Sports Channel, or something like No.3 behind those two. The biggest advantage they have is that India home series, World Cups & Champions League are with Star & they are pretty much assured of the No.1 slot, since next 1 year, India is playing mostly at home. Ten Cricket doesn't have India associated content. So Neo, can try to be the go to channel in sports when India-cricket is not on, atleast for a year.

What I meant was that ESS, TEN, SIX also looking for non-Cricket sports content.

Neo Sports Broadcast has acquired the broadcast rights to showcase all domestic and international cricket played in New Zealand until 2020.

The seven-year deal includes 261 days of live cricket including 18 T20s, 63 ODIs and 36 Tests and includes rights for all of Asia excluding Middle East.

The broadcast rights for New Zealand were earlier held by Multi Screen Media (formerly Sony Entertainment Television). However, the broadcaster was only willing to renew the property at a favourable price.

Pitch International, New Zealand Cricket's exclusive international broadcast and sponsorship agents, managed the sales process.

Neo had recently secured the broadcast rights for the Asia Cup. This deal ensures a consistent presence of cricket on the Neo network for the rest of the decade.

The seven year rights cycle will involve two India tours in 2014 and 2019. It also includes a Trans-Tasman rivalry double header with Australia in 2016 and 2018 and England being hosted thrice in 2013, 2018 and 2020.
