Tired of Sify broadband

Hii,I am currently using the 384kbps unlimited plan of Sify broadband. I reside in Delhi. My main purpose is only Downloading. Thats it. I usually get a Downloading Speed of 45-50kbps. As Sify is offering a new 1mbps unlimited plan, i tried to find out whether this plan is available in Delhi or not. Sify Customer executive told me that 1mbps plan is no available in my area yet. Frankly spking, I m very tired of my current 384kbps plan. So i want to upgrade it to 1mbps. But unfortunately, Sify doesnot have any UNLIMITED plans greater than 384kbps as yet (Excluding night plans in which i m not interested). Can u tell me when this 1mbps plan be available in Delhi??Another ISP called "PACENET" is available in our area. Its offering 1mbps unlimited speed in Rs.1100. I m not sure whether i shud switch to PACENET or not? The main thing is i want a high download speed. I reside in East Delhi. So if u have any other ISP which provides high download speed, plz do share.thank you. 🙂

I live in Rented house. so can't get MTNL connection & i also heard that their maintenance service is not good.

Only Sify & Pacenet broadbands are available in my area. 🙁

you can get mtnl connection on a rented apartment. all you need is permission from your landlord and probably a copy of the lease should be enough.

hmmm..but i already have sify connection. i m not understanding why sify is not providing 1mbps plan to my account inspite of advertising so much abt this plan.

My Local service provider is saying that Pacenet is very good ISP & it has 1mbps plan as well. So, i m thinking of switching to Pacenet. Although, I have not used it earlier. So, kind of Confused abt its service.

ohh sify is still in business, n more surprisingly people still using sify!!I also had a bad or u can worst experience with them back in 2007 but i dont have any other option then.when airtel came to my place I immediately kicked sify....

I don't think you should go for 3G as wireless is not something you should "ever" bank upon.I have wasted near to 5k hoping 3G would rescue me and now I got a BB connection, learned the hard way 😀
