The speculation around Bharti Airtel’s entry into the South African market has gained momentum.

Media reports from India yesterday said Bharti Airtel had its sights on South Africa and Cameroon as it planned to roll out data services on the continent.

Birgitta Cederstrom, head of ICT and telecoms in Africa at Frost & Sullivan, said it was possible for the Indian based mobile operator to move into the SA market.

Aside humor , Its good that Indian Telcos are growing and expanding in other countries. Its a National pride too .
 
Airtel has better 3G plans in srilanka . but here in India they have been looting us :x
