Tata Docomo GPRS is pretty bad in my area. It never goes beyond 20Kbps (2KBps download speed). And it keeps disconnecting frequently.

I've used tata photon plus, tata docomo GPRS, tata docomo 3G and after the horrible experiences with them I consider them as FRAUD.

I used Docomo GPRS 2 years ago in chennai. Pages were not loading and it usually takes several refreshes. In bangalore, one day it will work and another day it will not. I had a similar experience with tata photon plus read this post

Never ever touch tata's telecommunication services, its the most appalling service I have ever seen!

I have found vodafone GPRS good in both karnataka and chennai... though during peak hours, speed can be slow if you are in a densely populated area. But yeah, they are quite expensive. I'm afraid that you'll have to do a trial and error method to determine which service provider is the best for you, as GPRS is usually an unreliable service.

Well i have vodafone, and its better but again they are a bit expensive wanted anyother provider than Vodafone as i already have a Vodafone connection.

I already have Idea 2g.Speed barely reaches 100KBPS.I have got a docomo sim now.But they dont have mt handset settings in their database.Wonderfull i tell you.

The whole day has passed and i still cant use my docomo connection for gprs.this is pretty crap.Sent from my GT-I9103 using Tapatalk

Tata docomo's connection settings are as thus:Access point alias: (anything) < -- this is the name for the access point settingaccess point name: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET < --- this is the most important setting which is used by your mobile phone to connect to the gprs networkData bearer: GPRS

Tata docomo 2G rocks! If used on 2G network: anything between 100 kbps to 150 kbpsIf used on 3G network: stable 128 kbps (I prefer it)I'm using it for more than a year now (Pune). Definitely better than Idea or Airtel.
