what happens to the students who are probably paying a few lakhs as tuition fees?
 
this dispute is pretty old. UGC now issues this ad every 6 months or so. this is all they can do, they can't take any legal action as long as the institute doesn't claim to be a University. the students are also to blame to some extent if they cough up a few lakh rupees without doing any due diligence.

i see this university/college/school. . .WHAT the **** is this institution?? Coaching centre? :confused_2:Anyways i see IIPM ads everywhere. . TOI front page.. hindu . .a LOTTA magazines . .where the hell does it get money? And its students are supposed to be rich .. dont they have iPhone or something to ckeck the net/news and learn abt their institutions before joining it?
 

there was a brilliant article in the caravan magazine about arindam. Unfortunately he sued them and got it removed. It's there at wayback machine iirc if any one wants to read it.
 
IIPM is a good example how freedom of speech laws in India are already a joke.

When I was in Noida, there was a friend who used to study BCA in Amity university. Of course the fee is very high. Midway, he came to know that this course was not recognised by the regulated authority (I guess UGC).I think this is common in many of the private universities
 
So do people still join IIPM? Or IIPM is closed?

If closed then what is Arindam Chaudhuri doing now?
