1. Got BSNL U star UT300RTU Modem2. For Wifi Got Netgear vmdg280 Modem which is virgin media ( i get it from England). how to use this netgear modem for WIFI when i have attached netgear modem to BSNL it work fine for accessing internet thru Ethernet cable but it doesnt throw wifi?Plz guideSid
If a default SSID is seen with security key use it .Firmware may not allow to change them. confirm.and give the link here.If possible upload screenshot of the wifi page To turn the wireless feature off on the Netgear VMDG280,you have to press and hold the Wifi button in for 10 seconds,release and it and the green light will go out, making it a modem only.Setup your existing/new router, connect the ethernet cable fromyour existing/new router to no.1 ethernet port on the Netgear VMDG280,and turn it on.Source: web
