BSNL Prepaid Tariff plan/s-- details.

On the new-BSNL-PORTAL http://www.new.bsnl.co.in:8080/opencms/bsnl/BSNL/services/broadband/prepaid_BB_index.html, I have come across the following info on MOBILITY of braodband facility ON LANDLINE.. Can anyone throw some light on how it works on a "LANDLINE" connection ??

has anyone used it personally and worked fine ??

Mobility : The customers can use their prepaid BROADBAND account in any city in the Country (except Delhi and Mumbai) on most of the Broadband enabled connections of BSNL. An existing postpaid customer can subscribe to additional prepaid connection which will give him the advantage of mobility.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Just like mobile phone get prepaid card.
You are registered in a Fixed landline at your location.

Then anywhere in INDIA you can use a BSNL Landline Phone
and get connected to Internet. Take along the same modem used at home.
No phone call charges.

Similar to the good old Sancharnet internet ( still available)
"Spacecraft" speed of about 4 to 8 KB/sec !!!
Use in any BSNL.landline but Telephone calls are charged.

I have had a prepaid account, worked fine as advertized (limits were too tiny), haven't recharged it in few months so likely that the id is deleted.
