Do you think BSNL 3g will offer Unlimited plans

Nope. They better not! Look at the wireline scenario. BSNL has enough bandwidth to offer only 512Kbps UL. If they can't offer 1Mbps UL, then it means tha their network is not capable of doing so. I knew from start that the 7.2Mbps UL offered by BSNL was not going to last for ever. Its not possible for the low capacity network we have. However, I think BSNL should offer 512Kbps UL over 3G network @ broadband rates so that people who are saddled in rented houses in cities for work can enjoy easy access to internet - subscribing to landline is a cubersome process.

Bsnl should upgrade the 512kbps wireline plans to 1mbps and provide atleast 256kbps unlimited on their 3g plans for a max of 500 rupees.

Then how come BSNL is giving 2Mbps & 4 Mbps Unlimited (with sky high rates, of course) ?? They even have started rolling out FFTH upto 100 Mbps. Its just that BSNL is managed by worthless persons and dishonest ministry. BSNL just doesn't want to have any idea what Broadband means and just wants to screw customers.

BSNL has not upgraded their MPLS core network since ages

Update is that BSNL started again Unlimited 3g Plans in chennai region but 3.6 MBPS speed upto 5 Gb and later on speed will be resticted to 100 kbps...with cost 990 per month...
