Samsung Tablet 10.1 Getting updates on firmware in INDIA

Today While playing with my tab, I checked for about tab in settings & it prompted me that updates for firmware are available the updates are still going on, till yet I have recived 2 updates one was of 9.86 MB & other was of 4.6 MB, after first tab has reebooted, after second one , Tab is rebooting. Is this ICE on tab cause,all the update said was firmware update ( for stability), I am still waiting to reebot to finish , any one else got the updates yet ? Samsung website has no listed updates (India website)

ICS on Galaxy Tab in India so soon? Not possible 🙂 are you on android 3.2? because that is the latest Honeycomb edition I believe. it could just be a regular stability-performance improvement update from samsung.

confirmed tablet just reebooted & the update was for build number update for stability ( what ever that means) my build is now p7500XWKI2so any one having a tablet should take a note. Now lets see if perfomrnace has been increase or not, Memory used even after reeboot is quite less ( 400 only) I will report as I notice something.

Hi, can you provide some more details. is your tab indian samsung one..bcoz i am not getting updates.is the update improved the performance?

YEs, I have INDIAN tab, i.e. bought in INDIA used in India,updatrred in India. Also the performance seems to be increased a bit, it seems little faster & memeory used in quite less. for checking the update go to Settings>about Tablet> Software Update> touch here & select update.
