Suggest External USB Hard Disk!

I am planing to buy an external usb hard disk with capacity(500GB - 1TB). budget is not an issue(lol though it should not go beyond 5000rs).Basic requirement is to store photos and videos.Please suggest!

honestly, there is nothing much to differentiate between the major brands. Just buy the cheapest USB 3.0 drive you can find in your budget.

HDD prices have doubled due to floods in Taiwan.. Now 500GB (external & internal) is excess of Rs.5k.. may be you should wait for sometime.My seagate 320GB external hard disk has generated 30 bad sectors ever since I bought it an year ago(257 days powered on). (all sectors reallocated to spare area though). I don't know whether that's normal. However, my laptop's seagate 60GB hard disk has only generated only 1 bad sector so far(5 years old, 1.5 years powered on)
