Airtel 3G Issues - 3G Network Slow

Hello Airtel 3G users,I am using Airtel 3G from 1month, i notice some downtime issue with 3G network from their main server.I notice some issues with Airtel 3G,- Server will go down every 48hrs or 72hrs for a 2-4hrs of downtime.- While downtime occurs the speeds are converted to EDGE (128kbps).- When i call CC they say that their 3G Network server was slow atm, please try after 2hours.- Speeds will be back after 2-4hrs.Any one having same issue with Airtel 3G from Andhra pradesh?
 
Happens with vodafone in AP, getting slow downloads, capped to 1mbps i guess.
 
Rusty I am speaking about Airtel, I don't know about Vodafone bcoz i don't use shitty Vodafone,Idea again their services takes soo much time for activation and deact!!Example: Airtel activates 3G instantly but Voda,Idea,Aircel takes 2-4hrs.
 
I mentioned about vodafone because I think they are sharing the same 3g towers.
 
I use 1250Rs/- plan mdheeraj86!Rusty I don't think they are sharing tower at Kurnool dist? I don't see any vodafone signal here.Airtel 3G Network was down from yesterday night getting EDGE speeds anyone have similar issue in AP?
 

3G data packs and "pay as you go" 3g users in AP (delhi too?)are getting speeds @ 40kbps even though profile shows 7.2 mbps / modem blue light.If you connect in Edge only getting 150-180 kbps. They stopped 3G double data schemes on Nov 30th ,reduced usage/ GB in some gprs data packs and may be re organising their structure.Hopefully it goes back to the previous speeds soon.Aircel has improved their speeds.Eralier they used to give above 3.6 mbps profile only for super pro pack. now there is no distiction I think.Between airtel,voda,aircel,bsnl ,Idea - airtel was the best so far .
 
ulysses Speed was back now getting 900kb - 1100kb/sec, This issue coming every 72hrs it takes 12-24hrs to resolve,This was annoying.Any one have similar issue?
 
Today I bought a 3G Airtel USB modem & the speed is 40Kbps !!! claim is 7.2 Mbps, even a 1Mbps is ok, but 40 Kbps !!!
 
Great you bought a 7.2 mbps Airtel data card!But what 3G pre paid re charge you did? or any free usage for 30 days? or Post paid?Do a small 3G recharge and check speed.if no 3G recharge done, it will be 40 kbps in HSPDA/ WCDMA mode.(profile will still show 7.2 mbps and the modem will show light color appropriate to 3G mode)welcome to Airtel!:waving::fart::stop: But in Edge ,you can get 180-220 kbps.
 
I had the 99 Rupee 3G plan activated. yesterday, it was almost finished (0.16mb left) so I activated the 98 Rupee 1GB GPRS pack and now I am getting HSDPA speeds and the balance is getting deducted from the 1GB 😀

@ulysses, I bought a post paid connection which was being sold in our office campus, 675 plan. Presumed it will be good. You are right the color still showed solid blue, but speed was 40 Kbps. I tried at both home and office, my non 3g MTS card was faster.But as I write this using the same airtel datacard, the speed seems improved. The status today says HSPA airtel, whatever that means. DO not know how long the improved speed will last.
