BSNL launches Rs 125 Broadband Promotional plan in Gujarat Circle State-run BSNL has launched a new low-cost Broadband tariff plan in Gujarat Circle. The promotional plan “BBG 125 CS6″ will provide 250 MB of Data Usage for a monthly commitment of Rs. 125 and additional data usage will be charged at 30 paisa per MB. Customer choosing this plan will get initial Broadband speed of 2 Mbps upto 250 MB and speed will be downgraded to 256 Kbps thereafter. The BSNL “BBG 125 CS6″ plan is effective from 21-11-2011 for 90 days on promotional basis in Gujarat Circle only. Being a standalone Broadband plan, customer will have to choose a separate Landline plan, which will increase the overall cost. The Landline is the main hurdle in selling ADSL2+ Broadband of BSNL. Why customer interested in Broadband services is being pushed to take a Landline and increasing the overall cost? Similar, situation is with Broadband of MTNL in Mumbai where they do not offer Combo plans at higher speeds.
