Elected on a "log cabin and hard cider" campaign, he then tried to overcome the impression he was a liquor-guzzling backwoodsman by giving the longest and most learned inaugural address ever. Unfortunately, after talking so long in the cold, damp air, he caught pneumonia and died a month after taking office. 😀 :lol:
