DNA A211-I wifi settings

Hi guys.
I m using ITI's DNA A211-I (type 2) modem and i want to password protect the wifi.
I tried typing http://192.168.1.1 in my browser but it doesn't open any page.

Any solutions??

Open Network. LAN properties.Hifgh light tcp/ipProperties.Ip address enter 192.168.1.10255.255.255.0192.168.1.1 dns ( existing or )8.8.8.88.8.4.4Apply Save.Now access modem settings and In WAN page select PPPoE , enter/store your userid PW In LAN page enable DHCP give range 192.168.1.10 to say 192.168.1.20Save reboot. Wait for two minutes.Confirm you get connected to Internet automatically.Do not use dialer.Refer my link given in identical thread. Feedback.

After following above mentioned steps :-
I was able to open dsl router page

But the other (In WAN page
select PPPoE , enter/store your userid PW..... ) instruction i was not able to follow
as there other options than those mentioned in these steps.

But then i followed the procedure shown in the video given in

link, this made the wifi password protected but now I am unable to connect through
wifi on my mobile phone even after entering the right password.
What might be the problem?

Your system/computer/Modem should connect to Internet, automatically.
( Your USERID/PW to be stored in WAN page )
Enable DHCP in LAN page.

Now there is another problem, internet is getting disconnected every 2-3 minutes. Windows diagnostics says "windows can't communicate with device or resource (primary DNS server)"Is this due to change in settings or a backend problem?

Presume OS is Windows 7.You can keep the LAn Ethernet cable connected , ( In wifi mode ) and check whether Internet connection is lost. when wifi gets disconnected. WIFI channel selected: can be Channel 11 or Channel 6.

There is no problem with WiFi. Its just that in every 2-3 minutes the DSL gets unsynced and the connection resets. BSNL guys are trying to correct this for past two days but its still not working for more than 2-3 minutes. Any suggestions??

Check in Management tr_069 client disable it.Uncheck box adsl2 + in DSL page.Recheck snr/attn in Status/statistics/adsl.2Check from device info Firmware/software version.If SEM make an upgrade may be available.check "sticky" post WA3002=G4 quick reference guide here.
