Hi guys, I m using ITI DNA-A211-I type 2 modem and i want to password protect the wifi.
I have tried http://192.168.1.1 in my browser(firefox) but no page open up and it says
"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.1."

Any solutions...

Accessing the modem/router menu pages is different.
1.
In Computer START RUn type cmd Ok
New window;
type ipconfig /all
DEfault gateway will be shown ( say 192.168.1.1 )
access with ID admin PW admin.
.If you want to change the PW see under Management.
2.
If still not possible, and if connected to internet
type in browser
Current IP Check
Re type the address say ( example :117.56.xx.xxx)
again in address bar.

A window may appear.
Modem/router may be accessed now.

3.
Security key for wifi ( WEP WPA etc )
This is entered in the Wireless page. You can change it as and when
you feel like changing it.

4.
See sticky Post wa3002-g4 quick reference for settings/screenshots etc.

Feedback.
