Wow! i see increase in spam inbox again 😛 So how does the author plan to make money of it? He claims its free. . so it will be add supported right?
 
This should help me hopefully. I don't have an SMS plan and find it difficult to reply by SMS when someone expects me to occasionally 😛
 
well considering this is a commercial service, it would have to obey the DND rules! 🙂
 

well hundreds of telemarketers in the country are already punked. this service is no different. the different is that it supports sending international sms. so there is something worth testing out.
 
dude ur using my punked :rofl:yup int. sms sending fr free would be just awesome...but I think all thse telecom cos might find sm way to get it blocked or something as no one will be using normal service then fr sending sms if anyone can send sms fr free 😀
 
if any service offers free sms sending, it WOULD be misused by spammers. it becomes just like email. and we all know how big the spam problem is with email services. web based group messaging service is the only solution out. and they are becoming more and more popular with time. and some feature phones are also expected to get basic support for these in the coming times.
 
i dnt have any single spam in my email or even if it cms its very rare ...tx to gmail 😀though I do get tones of spam frm naukri.com and Monster.com and all those job websites in my old email id which I dnt use now much bt there is just no way to stop it they keep changing their IDs again and again.....I just once made the mistake of posting my resume on these websites during college days and now that email ID is flooded with spam by them...I think there should be sm law passed atleast fr local Indian cos something like DND for emails too...I think this is a topic fr a new thread 😀
 
Yes international sms is good...but it attaches a suffix sent from jaxtr or something

They have this jaxtr call service for many years now....They give you a local number....call that number when you want to make international calls
 
Has anybody started using JAXTR, a new free SMS service started Sabeer Bhatia of Hotmail fame. My experience gas been mixed. I wish that JAXTR becomes a huge success.

I dont think it is free. For using sms ,you need to pay membership right?
