Messages are not delivered to DND numbers. It will be fail unless they figure out a solution for this problem.

Ok.working perfectly!Downloaded Jaxtr Android app in to my Nesus S and working ok. (Android is using airtel 3g data sim but not my permanent voice no.)Sent two "check" sms's to my permanet no's -BSNL (TN) and Reliance GSM (AP) voice no's sitting in humble Micromax Q1 dual sim phone. Voila .. instant sms recceived.will be useful for overseas sms (otherwise Rs 3 to 5) and non urgent /essential sms. Right now my Reliance GSM charges 50p local/National . :tickledpink:

My single message to BSNL was delivered multiple times with wrong timestamps. Messages to Vodafone are delivered promptly. I use Airtel, though not really relevant to JAXTR. I'm not sure whether international messages were promptly delivered.

I had been using this since past 2-3 days. I had sent an international msg as well. But i need to check whether the recipient still used that no. or not! 😀I thought it was pretty old for others who have been using Android based phones since long. I read it in the newspaper, so i assumed, that "It has to b pretty old service, which is officially announced today." No membership required, nothing paid in it. Just that it adds that promo suffix in the sms u send.Seems good to me.

Nope. its not showing any limit./ But i hope u r aware of the fact that it uses ur data connection for sending the messages! It wud not take much of ur data, but still, just "FYI" 🙂

no, i mean way2sms has 140 letters limit per SMS.

Sending long messages using way2sms used to be a pain in the ass.

So wanted to know that the maximum limit for each SMS sent using jaxter.

I understood ur question. But i have forwarded a few messages that were of Standard length, so not aware whether it stops us from sending messages beyond a particular character limit.

I think u must have sent it more no. of times, seeing the red notification? It happened with for 1st 2-3 times. but never after.

Certainly not 🙂 The editor of JAXTR is not as good as native iPhone message editor, I don't like typing messages with JAXTR. Sending one message is painful enough....

I am using jaxtr from my Nexus android for the last 3-4 days .It is working fine. I just use this for enquiry /non essential messages.( saves 50p/message -which I will pay from my normal Reliance Gsm sim.)Iam not a big text user .so no sms rate cutter pack . all messages @ 50p works for light useJust noticed something. I changed the sim in my android to use another sim to use the extra data expiring next month. sent a fresh sms message to my normal voice phone from android- it is still showing sender's no as my previous no with which I registred the app. not the current one.If some one replied to the older sim no mentioned, you will not see message. This can be misused too.

This is a terrible bug, if phone is stolen.......

Now Iam using my voda sim in my android and sending a message .It is showing my airtel sim with which jaxtr was registered first. It is indeed a terrible bug . One can buy a second hand /stolen android and get a sim with out any proof ( Rs 300 only in burma bazzar) ,get a data pack and can do any mischief they want. They can even register in Twitter in famous people's name and impersonate too!!Except the tower location ,law authorities wont know who he is!

How is that related to jaxtr? even without this service you can buy the stolen phone and SIM and do the same thing. just not for free.
