Getting a new connection

Thanks for all the replies guys !!!Im thinking about taking the 1Mbps plan for Rs 600, my usage is around 40-50 GB/month.How is the speed after FUP i.e 768kbps ?Do you get the promised speed ?How about wifi connectivity, is it easy to setup, as I share connection with 4 devices.

Hemanth, did you switch to Beam? How's the experience been (either with Beam or with Airtel if you decided to stay with them)?
 
What do u mean ? ACT = Beam ? Or ACT and Beam are working together in bangalore ?
 

Recently, I have moved to Hyderabad.There is already an existing Beam Fiber Connection (with the RJ45 connector) inside my room, which was used by the previous tenant.Now when I asked for a new connection for me, they are still asking for the INSTALLATION charges of Rs 500/-But I surprise, if the connection is already there and they have to ONLY create a user profile for me, why the hell they are asking for installation charge ???Instead of installation charge, they might ask for DONATION and I'll be happy to give the donation to them 🙂

well .. why dont you contact previous tenants and use their id and password?

If you think from their POV .. you have to pay installation charges
