DSL LInk Issue and Modem Problem As well

Hi,This is Kishore from Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu.Lemme Explain My Issue and friends please give me appropriate advice:I have a BSNL 1350UL plan with me. Off late i am facing this issue:Issue 1 - When I switch on the modem, the DSL led takes atleast 10-20 mins to lit up!! (This is happening for the last 1.5 months)Issue 2 - For the last 1 week even after the delayed lit up of the DSL Led, I find the DSL going off and On..It just goes off and blinks itself on in another 1 min.. stays stable and again it's off.. Its not stable at all for the last 1 week..I had complained to the BSNL guys here and they came and checked with a new bsnl modem and the dsl led lit up immediately.. I am using a D-Link GLB 802C ADSL2 modem..Is it a modem issue? As usual BSNL say that it is!!Kindly clarify, thanks in advance..
 
Quite obvious that your modem is dying, if its under warranty, try to get it changed or you will need to replace it.
 
Yes, if a new modem is working fine, it is time to replace your modem. Still you can try resetting the modem or upgrading the firmware. Though I am not sure how effective those steps will be.
