I am a D2H happy subscriber since one year and I want to take HD or HD DVR connection, but i am confused to take which one.CC persons told go for only HD not HD DVR.Please suggest me to go for which connection?

Its actually upon your requirements. If your requirements is limited only upto watching high Definition channels in Normal Stereo Sound, then go for HD Box, But if you wish to record, and connect your STB to sound systems you need to take HD DVR bcoz in HDDVR, AV ports are more than compared to HD Box.

If your News/Serials/etc., adicted go for DVR else gofor HD Zapper..... my personal experience Clarity is good in HD Zapper compare to HD DVR....

I didnt find much clarity differences in Zapper & DVR. Last Sunday when the engineers had come, they had come with a Demo DVR & Demo Zapper, to check if the issue of Sync was there or not. So they had connected Zapper too. And i didnt find much difference. But the engineer was trying to persuade me to shift to Zapper from DVR! I said only 1 thing - "I bought the DVR when the HD channels were only 6 on D2h, that too, xcluding Star Cricket HD." (The event based channel)

Thanks! i go for HD only, because i watch only movies and sports, my family watch only serials.

Its better that u dont go for DVR. Once u know its uses, u wud find it tough to do without it! I mean when u go to some other place for a Business tour, or a Holiday or any relative's place, that thing will pinch hard! I have experienced this many times now.

thanks, i want a sugeestion, that i have samsung LED TV , for sound out put which is best, Home theater or 5.1 channel speakers or TV speakers are enough. Please suggest jaymin.

If you are taking a HD connection it is always better to go for a home theater/5.1 channel speakers. You will be able to enjoy both audio and video with that set up 🙂

And dont forget to buy a set that has S/PDIF or a Co-axial cable support.

I am much happy with D2H HD sound quality. Most of channels in stereo quality. Sony mix is awesome. But its with D2H HD DVR with 90cm dish. Dont know other condition D2H product.
