Issue with Huawei E173u-2

Hi all 🙂

This is my first post here. If you are in TE, E, TDF or Chip forums, I am there as avi 🙂

I have Huawei E173u-2 and I having problem with it. The speed drops to zero whenever I am trying to connect & never goes up. However this problem only seems with Reliance. But When I use that same sim in different modem, the speed never drops & it works fine.

I contacted the ebay seller from where I bought this. He said, if the problem is only with reliance, then he cannot replace it. Currently only Reliance gives me sufficient speed for my browsing & I cannot change operator. Btw I am using in 2G, no reliance 3G here in my area.

Any help appreciated 😀

It Seems to be a problem with Reliance. Walk in to the nearest Reliance show room and Give an Request to Rectify the problem. They would Certainly Help.. up to some extent. I doubt Reliance has Congestion problem. are you facing problem in your particular area or in other areas also?
 
@audioslave - thing is reliance is working fine with other modems. So the problem is actually with modem + reliance combination. Put different sim, modem works, put reliance in another modem, it works !@anant - full signal. At all the time
