yeah. WP fans waiting for Mango for front facing camera support and the best Nokia has to offer does not have it. funny thing? skype is not even ready for WP Mango with video calling support. users would have to use alternative apps like tango.

Because over at Bernstein, they’re taking a very different view. There, analysts are saying there’s really nothing to differentiate the Lumia from the competition. Worse, at the high end of the line it’s overpriced and at the mid and low ends it’s got a “cheap build.”
“This new product portfolio appears worryingly uncompetitive,” says Bernstein analyst Pierre Ferragu, adding that because of its $580 price point the Lumia 800, Nokia’s hero device, will be hobbled at launch. “This phone is condemned to be either anecdotic [sic] or go through massive price cuts in the next 6 months.”
If that’s to be the fate of its marquee handset, Nokia has another tough year ahead of it battling it out with the iPhone and Google’s Android army.

i wonder how good this phone would have looked with android ics!

that will mean Apple, samsung, htc together will go to ICU or at least meet a doctor for serious checkup.:suicide:

1 word: WOW.

I mean at the look.

is there anything wrong with windows phone except for the lack of apps ?i mean any bugs or some other issues... i like this phone very much. it looks awesome and the camera also looks good and i can live without the front facing camera. and i assume office mobile has to be better than thinkfree , quickoffice etc. right now i have the Galaxy s. the original one and not s2.i see that there are windows phone versions of the android apps i use which are whatsapp, facebook, youtube, angry birds.opera is missing but now i use 3g so not an issue. tapatalk is not there and picsay pro photo editor is also absent which i use to reduce size of photos before emailing them.i like the UI and can live with lesser number of apps but are there some other issues with windows phone 7 devices ?

i cannot think of much except that most google apps are not available on WP and you would have to start relying on microsoft powered services (bing maps etc).

Didn't get much chance to use navigation on s1 because of the malfunctioning GPS chip. And this Nokia will have Nokia maps i used them on old nokia 5800 and location pointing was accurate
