Software updating Started to Activate LAN port and USB

Has anybody from Mumbai received the Update?
 
Hi!I have received a software update when i switched off and then switched on the TS+ DTH box... and now i can see the 'Download Manager' under Plan menu, 'IP Diagnostics' under Organizer->System settings Menu etc. 🙂However, i did not get any credit though.I couldn't use this new feature/upgrade though, since my Airtel wifi router is in another room, and currently i do not have either a long ethernet wire or a wifi bridge to make the TS+ box access the internet.
 
Ethernet Credit of Rs. 100 is no longer happening, i guess that was some kind of limited offer for select few customer only

Yes, in Mumbai, last Saturday or Sunday, my STB have received an OTA (On the Air) software update and after that "DOWNLOAD MANAGER" option have appeared.

I have not yet connected LANPORT to Internet as I felt too busy last week to do that, but may be will try this weekend. But I have limited monthly DATA download internet, hence may be I will not be able to use it too often.

FOR THIS FEATURE, ONE SHOULD HAVE ONLY UNLIMITED INTERNET CONNECTION.

to enable ethernet port I guess one needs to plugin in an ethernet cable in the STB. I did that, rebooted the STB and got the LAN port activated. No credit as such for the same. no idea about USB port.
 

why they are not enabling USB port. due to this i m not able to copy all the recorded program to my laptop. if i will change my package all the recorded data will be deleted. keep me frustating......
 
well. there is a reason why all the programming recorded on the STB is encrypted. it is not supposed to be taken off the STB. there is something called copyright that is applicable on the media that is delivered through the television medium.
 
I have noticed this after the latest round of software updates - When I switch off (with remote, not mains) and switch on the STB, it starts with channel 100, which is annoying. I want to watch the channel I was watching before switching off. I have to press BACK to go to the channel which I was watching. I've noticed this in TS HD +.
 
^ Great!!! I am not alone with this issue. The same thing happened with SD box as well. After a firmware update this issue started and it never resolved until I moved to HD+ box. Now, the same issue started here as well. Dont know when it will be resolved.
