Yeah definitely. Even other foreign and useful channels have to be hd'd ASAP! Im watching the programs that i never used to because its hd and its so pleasure to view! BTW, any news if neo cricket hd is coming for the west indies tour?
 
No such news as of now. I guess, as others are telling, the migration of D2h from ST1 to ST2 is still in progress.......so they are doing chopping & churning with channels ryt now. Hope to see some more from them, once they completely move to ST2 & things get stable.
 
Pardon my ignorance but what is ST1, ST2? I mean what has it got to do with adding more hd channels?
 
Ah, its understandable! When we r new, we are all alien about these terms.Ok, ST1 & ST2 are satellites! Till now, D2h transmitted from Satellite ST1. But in May or so, ST2 was launched (may be u might recall ur eyes passing over such words in some newspaper). ST2 was launched with the aim to replace ST1. So obviously, D2h wud have to migrate to ST2.And on this new satellite, they have much more Transponder (TP) space than before. More this space, more the capacity with the DTH player to add channels. It can be any channel - SD or HD.And Tata Sky is already facing this crunch. But they are juggling around channels from time to time.
 
Oh yes, I get it now. So we just have to wait for sometime till the add new channels. Thats fine unless they dont add something like cnbctv 18 hd. No offense, but a lot of prefer entertainment than business probably. Its just my assumption.
 
Obviously! Me too! If they want to add any new HD channel, they have to bring back HD Music first. It was such a nice channel.
 

Oh yes! If they can put espn hd, why not star sports hd too? And even AXN. Man, im starting to get greedy all of a sudden 😀

Well, Lets just think positive and assume that they are doing something which is going on in our mind. Least that might keep us going and maybe they could pull out a miracle ! 😀

yea..i thought DTH netowrks will take atleast 2-3 years more to achieve the current subscriber base. But look at DTH penetration now!

Maybe we should hope HD channels will get added more a lot faster than we might think it'll happen!
 
^^ Bingo! And by the way, which channel is f1 going to be telecasted? I saw their ad, "enjoy motor racing in high definition". Since star sports is not hd, is it going to be espn this time around? Even Tata Sky says the same thing.

Yup. It will be on Espn HD. It would be fantastic to watch F1 on Indian soil
