Scumbag Sony recalling TVs with defective parts internationally but not in India!

I've been a loyal Sony customer. TVs, camcoder, camera, SE phones. I will seriously think whenever I have to make a choice next.
yeah...and there seems to be some heating probs with sony xperia phones also! GOD, wake up sony!

I have KDL46EX710 which is not in the list of affected models. But this model suffers from poor and uneven backlighting. When I asked Sony support they said it's a non issue. (I am watching the TV wrong)


Sony quality is going down the toilet since past 3-4 years it seems. Now it's time for us to flush the toilet clean.

(I am watching the TV wrong) I dnt understand wht kind of brains the person would have to even make such a remark and then be eligible to sit in the job interview and then get hired by SOny.
 

Sony's PR is taken care by an agency that associates the product with celebrities. Rest assured its not limited to consumer electronics 😛. Talking to them is like humping an old tree. They are arrogant and clearly do not know how PR is done for tech companies. By the way they speak it looks as if they're either freshers who are showing one of those arrogance that people get when their product is endorsed by mainstream media ass kissers. I've contacted them via email so they decided not to answer it back. I've created a thread in their FB they are telling me to contact their PR 😛. I think the best thing to do is sticky such threads. This way people will know that their favourite brand isn't really good.
 
And One more gr8 thing abt Sony India. If you try to share any feedback and complain on their Facebook page, then are very quick to delete it and block you for further sharing anything on their wall.
For me putting a complaint on SONY's facebook page worked .. they sent my 3D Blu-Rays immediately .. I was sick of talking to their customer care for abt 3 months..
 
God knows if they have improved, bcoz last time when I shared one feedback wrt to LG, Sony India deleted my post. Later I complained abt the same to Sony (Global one).Also, if you mail them will work a lot. I mailed them and found it effective.
 
^looks like Sony wants itself to called an a******....such an attitude will not work in the long run and neither pricing their products too high frm competitors:3 Boys:.
 
I feel the same they are charging 25% more to their product just because of their brand name...
I would have opted for Sony if i had money instead i bought LG 42" Plasma...

But still there are many people who opt for it even after well knowing the reason. That is why they are still on market.

Why Sony not recalling their affected models from India? Eye opener for us in future not to buy Sony products?
 
i will never buy anything again from Sony.
bought a sony LCD back in feb 2010 and faced the same problem of "ghost screen" twice within last 3 months.
I bought this to reduce the tension (as I hope the quality of sony would never let me to go a service center) but actually it has increased the tension.

my badluck (or sony's), I posted this on 14 oct and this piece of crap has again showing the same problem since 31 oct, last repair was done 29 sep 2011 for the same problem.

I already sent feedback from sony website and got reply that they will repair this time free of cost.
but dont I desreve peace of mind if I had paid them premium of at least 3000-4000 in comparison to other brands ?
want to sue them in consumer court...

Ontopic: sony ericsson phones are good but now since ericsson is bought by sony . .am thinking abt hholding off the purchase of xperia i wanted to buy
