Buying a new scooty type scooter for the first time

Among the scooters, Aviator is the best. Next good option is to go for Activa. Suzuku makes good ones too but service back up is an issue. Stick to Honda.
 
Honda has a waiting period of 6-8 months.
 
^ Depends on the model. Activa and Unicorn have long wait times. Dazzler and Aviator are more like a month
 
I missed many points on this. I post here my demand about a scooty in new words. I need below things in my new buying scooty.I am from Pune & I am going to buy a scooty type bike for me. I dont have much idea about buying a bike. You have lots of other options like TVS Wego, Hero (Honda) Pleasure for price of around Rs 50K or less. Remaining money (~ 30K) you can use for purchasing petrol for rest of your life 🙂
 

^^ 30k for lifetime petrol ? Activa gives about 30-35 kmpl which means approx 2 Rs. per km so 30k means only 15k KM.now dont tell me he plans to drive only 15k KM in his lifetime 😀
 
Considering he wants Scooty type 2 wheeler, his daily ride would be around 5~10 KM, and never expect to take it to long drives. So Rs 30K is huge amount to save for petrol 😀

You can understand basic difference between Scooter and Motorbike by their appearance, they have gears, have powerful engines. While Scooty (brand name of TVS) is small scooter like other small scooters is mostly ungeared engine 2 wheeler, light in weight, suitable for shorter distance travel.... and car has 4 wheels 🙂
 
well dad using hero pleasure for last 1 and half year 🙂 pretty solid scooty type scooter 😛 gives mileage about 38-42kmpl( kilometer per liter) Cost us 42000rs on road price 🙂
 
man is it that hard to find a difference between a scooter and a motorcycle? 😕

I know what does scooty means but I didnt gone through right word. Actually I dont accept scooty as a scooter because of I think scooty has its own identity.

My sister using pleasure now & I know many things about it. Its a good scooty but if I find another good characteristics scooter than it then I will be more happy. Thanks for your concern. I already requested opera at begining of this thread but opera isnt serious. Check this.
