DTDC crap courier service followed by damaged parcel

Well apparently it so happens these courier companies in India have no regard to customer service or privacy.Had sent this letter to be delivered locally few days back through DTDC when the letter did not reach contacted the local DTDC office they tell me that the letter is tattered (Phattava) lying in some other office of theirs and they will arrange to be delivered back to me. Further on asking why I was not informed by them rather I had to call or if they would deliver this letter now through express as its their fault that so much time got wasted the DTDC lady did not even show any concern for it after much of argument just agreed to get the letter delivered again after it reaches me back and after redoing the entire thing....which I have done and resent it today..hopefully this time it will reach properly without anyone opening it or tearing it into pieces like they did to this one...and this was related to Navratra tikka which mom had sent...and becz of DTDC it never reached on time... Honestly if these courier cos commit mistake least they could do is admit it and then make sure that no further delay or damage is caused but rather in this case DTDC concerned officer She just wanted to move on forget anything ever happened nor bother to look into it with any concern. Ridiculous!

The only assured way of getting DTDC to deliver things safely and on time is to use their Plus service. Sure it is costly, but they have bigger commitments to take care of than opening a parcel to check its contents.

Use blue dart next time. I've always had a bad experience with dtdc.

If its just a envelop ,should have used speed post or registered post

did not use speed post since I would have needed to go the post office then..but yes I have heard pretty good things about speed post...also that one can track it...I need a good and a cheap courier service provider for Local mainly Delhi and ncr and Mumbai. Mostly letters and some time parcels. Can anyone tell what are the rates for it...

For local blazeflash has been very good for me , have sent hundreds of letters in the last few years and never had a single problem, many people don't like blazeflash maybe its just that my local blazeflash franchise is more efficient , Rs 15 for letters inside delhi ( increased price recently from Rs 10 )

My experience with DTDC has been the best, hence I will recommend them. For documents, use Lite, for costlier stuff, use Blue within NCR and Plus for Mumbai. Documents through Lite, within NCR should cost you between 25 and 35 based on the location - these are still considered separate states for themPlus within NCR costs 125Plus to Mumbai costs 150Plus guarantees next day delivery, Blue guarantees 2nd day delivery, though within NCR it delivers in a day. Heck, even Lite delivers in a day within NCR

I was using blazeflash previously had to make too many calls to them just find out where the letter is did not work out that well fr me so shifted to DTDC from them...

In my case letters within delhi have reached the destination next morning everytime and i have to send letters very regularly within delhi.

I was using blazeflash for Mumbai mostly and it would always get delayed...too many repeated calls to them...Mr. Jha was the person there at the time...who would keep on assuring but things would become just too hectic as everytime the date would be pushed fwrd

Spoke to Mom she is so pissed that the DTDC lady just banged the phone instead of even showing any concern fr it she is saying suggest me a alternative no more DTDC 😛

Give blue dart a try, I don't know about the rates, but it hasn't failed me yet.

BlueDart is good, but really expensive. Unless you can tag in with a corporate scheme from somewhere, it will end up being heavy on the pocket

is Aramex cheap ? I tried to calculate their lowest prices for Local and Mumbai couldn't will probly call them tomorrow to get the prices...
