Noticed it couple of weeks back. But url is still previous - store.ovi.com. I guess soon they will have urk with Nokia store as well, and Store app also renamed to Nokia...

I didn't understand whats new in that. App which is installed in Handset is Nokia Store. And the app which is installed on computer is called Nokia Ovi. And the app store online portal store.ovi.com is called Nokia Store since starting. :blink3:

mmm Nokia is probably ditching the OVI branding as they migrate to Windows Phone. they would not have their own mobile app store on WP devices right? because microsoft does not allow that.

Yes, but they did it long back.Ovi Store changed to Nokia StoreOvi Music changed to Nokia MusicOvi Map changed to Nokia MapAnd the latest launch was Nokia Chat

That means they were on beta till now. After checking the above post tried opening Nokia Store and it popped up with newer version available. 😛

Nokia's app store journey MOSH > OVI > Nokia
I just removed "Nokia Store" from my mobile yesterday as it was very slow, besides when I opened web version of store, it automatically opened Nokia Store app. But press release says its fast!?
Need to install and check again, but I prefer web version on Store in mobile browser.
