Formula-1 News and Updates

There is a requirement / restriction which doesn't allow them to prepare the track in advance. Or that's what I remember reading. The work on the track is supposed to start 45 days before the race.

errm. makes no sense. from the pictures, they are still working on stands and seating arrangements. 😛 if i had paid 25000 bucks for one of these seats, i would be worried 😀

40000 is fake figure!or people were hired to him, to promote indian GP.but otherwise 40000 fans for Lewis Hamilton in Bangalore, I am not ready to believe.

heh yeah i suppose. there are tons of F1 fans around but i would doubt 40k fans in just one city. 😀

I think they have counted curious people walking by, who had no idea what it was, who it was!Its like when u r walking by and suddenly u see crowd gathered for something and u go there to check out whats happening! So they must have counted them too!

If 40000 people gathered it does not mean that they are fan of LH or McLaren. Those people could be F1 fans who were eager to seen a top F1 driver driving a top F1 car....

Still 40000 fans gathered just to see ONE DRIVER. That too from one city alone! I doubt people wud come all over from India just to see F1 car driven by some arrogant driver!! 😀I dont buy it.

Other wise as you said people who were roaming around those area the organised might have counted their heads too...who knows they might have counted Hamilton's head too ...:Freaky:

After yet another incident-marred race weekend in Singapore, it was reported last week that the drivers will hold a meeting at Suzuka with FIA race director Charlie Whiting to talk about Hamilton's "bravado."
Autosprint claimed that 'Hamilton's colleagues have announced a meeting at the Suzuka Grand Prix with FIA delegate Charlie Whiting.'
And the point of the meeting will be to discuss the "antics" of the Brit in 'Malaysia, Monaco, Montreal, Silverstone, Hungaroring, Belgium and, also, in Singapore.'
However, it would seem not everyone is out to get Hamilton as his former McLaren team-mate has already stated he won't be present.
"Are all drivers attending a 'special meeting' in Japan about Hamilton's driving? I'm not, I have no problem," Kovalainen tweeted.

Week after Week its all about Sebatian Vettel & Redbull Racing who keep taking the pole position and keep on winning the races....Is there any one who could beat Vettel in this Weekend's race in Japan...I doubt it...:sad (2):

Haha, that word "destroy" does not mean, destroy by accident. It meant his position, by holding him by defending your OWN position.. which is very very much legal. That is what F1 race is all about right? One guy defends and other tries to attack.

This is why drivers are having meeting about Hamilton. They know Hamilton wont change. So they are meeting FIA delegate to convince Hamilton to crash with Vettel instead. 😀
