Qualcomm spectrum cancellation stayed by Indian telecoms tribunal

The US-based chipmaker had approached the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal or TDSAT on Wednesday after DoT sent a letter rejecting the company's application - for gettingwireless broadband service permits in four Indian service areas. Qualcomm won and paid 4,900 crore for airwaves in these service areas, in a government auction last year.

It seems you gave only 900 Crore (4.9K - 4K) to DOT guys and they are looking for more 😛 (Qualcomm paid 4.9K Cr after winning the spectrum)

Shame on DOT sarkari babus for such lame actions. They can't force the existing service providers provide "broadband" services and even want to prevent others who want to provide even after receiving the moolah.
