Some services are now exempt from 100 SMS per day limitations

The social networking sites - Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, LinkedIn and GooglePlus to its members pertaining to activities relating to their accounts based on their verifiable options

Agencies providing directory services – Justdial, Zatse, Callezee, Getit and Askme.

I was told by Customer care not to Spam/Send forwards/Send Group messages. then they will allow more than 100 sms per day/3k per month that too for postpaid. 😛

But the customer care told the same thing when i asked them whether they'l allow me to send more than 100 sms as I am subscribed to 10,000 sms Pack.

the thing is simple. they cannot sell packs with more than 100 sms per day anymore. the rules are made by TRAI and they cannot violate them at all.
