vbulletin charges a shit load of money to create a forum app. (200$ + 100$ each year)the forum already has tapatalk. just install it on your ipod/ipad/iPhone and browse ibf.

having a native app is a stupid idea. i do not want an app for every forum i visit. the concept behind tapatalk is nice because it is widely supported and does not cost much. you can access multitudes of forums from a single app.

vb's latest update which i am now running on this forum right now also adds support for forumrunner. i have no idea if anyone of you use it. if you do, i would turn it on.

Forum Runner - vBulletin / XenForo / myBB / IP.Board / phpBB Forum iPhone App

it looks hideous to me though compared to tapatalk.

Forum runner is a lot more stable/consistent when compared to tapatalk. It'd be nice, if you'd add support for it 😉

i wonder how much loading time it would add to the forum. 😀

try now as i cannot try it on my own. i do not want to pay for another mobile app 😕

There is a free version. Why not give it a spin ? Appearance sucks though, but otherwise its very smooth even on edge

ooh. appearance is important for me. i do not even like the UI of tapatalk. this one surely looks more hideous 😀

hehe. i am not a heavy user of tapatalk as well. but it seems to load up latest posts and let me respond to them just fine 😀 have not tried moderating from the mobile app though.

I essentially live off tapatalk: P. Bugs I've found so far -1. Need to log in each time you run the app 2. Unread threads wont show up.3. Modify post button refreshes the page.4. Random "you are not logged in" error.5. Force close on displaying large images - not sure who is at fault here6. Can't quote posts sometimesBasically, worthless 😛

haha. it did not require me to re-login after the update to version 2 on my phone. i did read in the reviews that a lot of people were frustrated with the requirement to login to all the forums once again. i guess they have fixed this problem with cloud based sync?
