Port Binding Issue

Hi.. I'm a new user of BSNL broad band. After configuring my Modem, for checking Modem i connected to my friends telephone line. With my user name and password i got internet from that line. But there after i'm not getting internet from my telephone line. The modem vendor says that it is some issue with port binding and it has to be corrected by BSNL. But i don't know much about port binding. Can i do something with modem configuration to correct this problem...
 
(a)Please give details of the modem Make/model/number.(b)How did you connect in friend's telephone line number say 22222222usign a Dialer ( entering YOUR userID/PW ) in system window.(c) or on PPPoE mode ( AlwaysOn ) entered YOUR userid/PW in wan page of modem ?d) Now your telephone number say 22224444With mode (b) and (c ) not getting connected ?(e) Now your friend's BB connection.Can he work now normally with HIS userid and PW ?(f) RESET the modem to factory settings.( Power on and press RESETswitch for about 10 to 30 seconds )(g) try again with YOUR USERID and PW.Feedback item wise/ Do not use FULL quote.
 
1. Modem make is TP-Link, TD-W8901G2. Using PPPoE mode ( AlwaysOn ) and entered my userid/PW in modem configuration.3. FRom my telephone it is not working4. I think his connection working properly5. I tried resetting the modem to to factory setting and reconfiguring it . But no use6.
 
Hope you got the user manual along with the modem or an installation cd.

Hope you selected the correct PVC 0 35 for Bsnl.
let other PVCs remain in 1483 Bridged mode and deactivate them
( Button below PVC selection box )
Check Diagnostics in Maintainence Menu.
Post connection status for PVC2 . SNR/ATTN values if not seen , not needed.
Try in LAN mode first.

1. Try hardware reset, reconfigure and check.2. If nothing works, talk to the SDE of your exchange.
 


If you are sure about the port binding issue, it will need to get resolved by your exchange only.
