How is Nokia N8?

Ofcourse for that huge price tag (ARound 21k) you can get a lot of high end phones better than N8.

Nokia N8 is a great purchase if you need an excellent camera on your phone (for that price tag). If camera is not on the top of your priority list... Stay away from N8 and get something else.

because it is loaded with symbian and Nokia is moving from symbian to windows phone for their next generation smartphones. symbian does not have the cool apps that android and iOS have. though for a web administrator, symbian might have tons of cool apps available (i am guessing this) considering it is a fairly old and open platform. it is a pretty old device right now. N9 is launching later this month (powered by MeeGo and would be very expensive). wait for 2-3 months and get one of the new Windows Phone models that Nokia would launch.

u should better get a S2 if u dnt hate Samsung that much 😛 if u cant wait its avil fr 26000 😛 and N8 is for 21000 to 22000...

@operamaniac,My budget is max 25k.I used to have Nokia n73 with symbian and I was quite happy with it. Did not noticed any issues with that set except that the rear camera had a slider which stopped working after a year or so.Android eats up ur battery like anything (thats what I have heard).

well a full touchscreen phone would eat battery. that is a fact with most devices. just play around with display and syncing settings and it should last you for a full day on a single charge. for 25k, i would suggest expand it just a bit more and get the S2. it is the best smartphone available for that price tag here in india. you should be able to get it for 27-28k. it would be stupid to go for any other model if you are indeed prepared to pay Rs. 25K. seriously.

I have Nokia N73 too 😀 and its awesome device I am guessing thats the reason u wanna go with Nokia again 😛yup the back cover problem ur talking abt is that the camera would go offline as soon as we open the cover..I was able to solve it by tightening the screws to sm extent 😀Even I wanted to upgrade to N8 but just check out how badly the phone lags when browsing net on it...nt a good experience to spend so much on it..
