BSNL DNS Socket Error 11005 on Sunday September 18 2011

Something is really wrong with BSNL DNS todaythey failing to resolve names to IP Address2-3 times i get Server not found then website comes online after 3-4 times pressing enter.i tried everything ipconfig /renew /release /flushdns /registerdns switch off/on modem didn't work 🙁then tried DNS change & it worked 🙂i you have got same problem as me try this.go to My Network Places => Local Area Connection => Properties => Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) => Properties.Manually Enter DNS this Google DNSPrefered DNS 8.8.8.8Alternate DNS 8.8.4.4Done. 🙂or Open DNS (bit faster than Google DNS)Prefered DNS 208.67.222.222Alternate DNS 208.67.220.220DNS gone BadHope BSNL will fix their DNS serversPrimary DNS 218.248.255.212 🙁Secondary DNS 218.248.255.211 🙁
 
Good to post here. That is helpful for those who are having trouble with dns. Actually it's a great option to go with OpenDNS, they are always up and fast.
