I've recently read that Zorin OS is one of the lesser known linux distributions based on UBUNTU with built-in support for multimedia, java, flash etc. however the USP of Zorin OS it is written, is its customizable desktop appearance to resemble windows 7, xp etc... as the user wishes & built in support for windows applications. also its core version's requirement of RAM is 378mb and lite version's requirement RAM is 128mb with 266Mhz processor is amazing !!. this should make it very fast on even older PCs.has anyone tried it & any end user experiences to share about it? Sai

didn't know about Zorin OS, just checked its site. looks nice, will give it a try!!!! 😛did you give it a try???

no. i didn't get an opportunity to test & see it for myself. It is available in only DVD format preloaded VLC as well for pc/64bit version; but it is beyond my limited internet access. LXDE version is CD version but doesn't contain wine & VLC player. all i have written is from reviews i read abt Zorin at various locations on the web. would be eager to test it, if anyone like you tries & likes it, could send in a copy of the same by post to me (will pay for DVD & postal charges).
