Sify broadband + dlink wireless router - help needed - i'm tired :(

SIFY BROADBAND + D-Link WIRELESS ROUTER - HELP NEEDED - I'M TIRED 🙁I read thousand threads, tried thousand methods, made hundreds of calls, now I really don't know I'm paying to harass myself or what?Internet was working on my pc, then i installed the router, all settings were fed to it,> static ip (ip,subnet,gateway,dns server)> wireless settings (wpa secured)> mac binding (i called sify to register both the mac address, of pc and the router(telling them i got a new laptop and want it to be registered)now internet was working for more than an hour and i used it effectively, on my pc and laptop and all devices i connected to the wireless network, and suddenly something happened and i got an exclamation mark over the lan icon, and it says "no internet access", again going through some thread i read set the dns server of the connected devices to the dns servers provided by sify, and it started working again! Then after an hour it too stopped working.I really don't know what was wrong, as far as i know the settings are correct, and it worked for 2 hours, strange!!Now when i connect the lan cable to my pc, internet is connected and as soon as to the router it stops working.....as if they removed the mac address they registered, but i called them again and it was not so! Then what is actually happening to it?Please if anybody knows what this problem is, please help, cause it is the last option I'm left with 🙁Thanx in advance.

frankly speaking... if you are dealing with sify, you are actually paying for harassment.

i really agree with you, but due some problem it is the service i have to go with at my home, otherwise I myself got a BSNL connection and its far better. Anyway, thanx for a reply mate.
