update on the Belkin: It wont support the laptop charger plug for some reason...as the light gets turned off on the Belkin Socket as soon as the charger is plugged to the laptopTried it with just connecting laptop plug but still did not work...no such issues with the previous 4 muti socket plug I was using..bit disappointed as I was thinking of discarding the 4 mulit plug adapter I was using now I will have to use both..
 
Found an item which is a better deal than other sites i have searched for. It says , "in stock" , but i dont want to transfer my money ,then later find it "out of stock" , so gona call them first thing tomorrow morning , find if its available and buy.Any suggestions ?
 
Well, calling them first is not going to make a lot of difference, I have tried to do that with Letsbuy, what the representative says hardly matters.You suffer.You can try one thing, call them and request for a COD order.

Does anybody have any experiences with returning a defected product to buytheprice? I ordered a phone and when it came, it wouldn't turn on and now I need to return it!
 


you would have to get a DoA document from the authorized service provider. And then contact BTP for the replacement.
 
And how would I get a DoA document from the authorized service provider?
 
you take the phone to the authorized service center. show him the bill. show him the defective unit. argue that you are not interested in getting the device repaired as it is brand new and was delivered dead to you. ask them to issue a DOA document. it would take them couple of hours to process. but it should be done. if the phone is less than 10 days old (bill date), you should have no trouble getting a DoA document. just do not let them try to repair the device. this is what i did with one x.
 
Where is the authorized service center in Delhi? For HTC or buytheprice? And I have everything apart from the bill. Is that a problem? Or can I just print out my order confirmation from the email?
 
lol. so the first thing you have to do is to get a bill. get them to mail you a copy so that you can take a printout at your end. without it? you pretty much have no proof of purchase.
 
Emailing them now to get a copy of the bill. Their phone lines are always busy!
