My Beauty LED, the latest Videocon D2H HD (non-DVR) connection and earlier TATA SKY SD connection

Yes, now we have 2 HD Zapper + 1 (me) HD DVR having same issue. So we can't take the " goli " of engineer for firmware issue.

So is ur STB hanging as well? Mine hasnt hanged for quite a while now. But i think their Radio channels are too heavy. It does hang if u show even a hint of impatience. And those channels are disconnected since long for me.

Other than Radio Services, its getting hanged normally. But since last 2 days it seems to be OK after I reset the STB.

The Engineer came, but the STB behaved well in front of him, so there was nothing I could show/demonstrate. He asked me to pull the power cord out of the STB and put it back in next time when it hangs. There hasn't been any issue today. I asked him to close the existing complaint as I would send one more email should the issue resurface.Y'day night there was no info on Channel Programs for about an hour or so. It came back after 2:00 in the morning today.In the meantime, my Download ID continues to remain at "8".Everything is working satisfactorily as of now and I have no regrets about switching over from Tata Sky.

This is the problem with EACH & EVERY electronic/mechanical gadget - they work just fine in front of their Doctors - like a nice kid. The moment the doctor leaves, or u leave the "Dispensary" the misbehavior starts.

I had a an issue of Pink Flash few months back. I didnt even knew that the problem i faced was actually called by this name! So after i dropped an email by describing everything in detail, the engineer did come. But the problem never surfaced in front of him. And exactly about 5-10 minutes after he left, the issue surfaced! 😕

Yeah even i noticed this yesterday. I think they are doing some fidgeting with their stuff. Today afternoon Mascot said that Star Plus HD was stuck for quite a long time. Hope that they release an update soon!

Oh and btw, i finally formatted my STB. Will see how it behaves now!
