I have an Airtel Maharashtra connection, which I use in Mumbai. I have not been receiving calls since yesterday. I can make outgoing calls. I thought that the problem will be rectified in a few hours time, but no....I called Airtel today and had a tough time making the executive understand the problem (10 min). I was told that the problem MAY BE rectified by 15th September!, a full 8 days! Keep up the great work Airtel.Is anybody else facing this problem? I have another complaint pending with Airtel. I don't get either 2G (EDGE) or 3G network (anywhere in Mumbai), complaint lodged on 8th September. I wonder whether the great technicians have messed up my incoming calls while trying to rectify 3G problem! Anything is possible with Airtel.

Airtel is one crazy shameless B*&6c. Don ever trust them. they just boast of gud network and @ the back they are just useless coward sucking every bit of money left on ya

they rejected my port out request and moreover they tried harassiing me by sayin your no. can nevr ne ported out of airtel nor can you terminate it.
they took 15 days to solve my issue when i made the ARC girl to send a email to a higher official of mnp dep.
they during the time they kept calling me and asking me y i want to port out and troubling me with all the offers.
U know its such a relief porting out of airtel and thier damn services. it really feels gud to divorce such a subscriber. sucha pain in one's lyf.

but still airtel used to be the best in its early days. but now it has gone bullcrap. not just my exp. but the internet is filled up comlaints and disregards for airtel.

@sa_kiran - the best way to solve ur issue asap is to visit ARC (if u can) talk to the guy or a girl (try girl first coz they pateintly listen to your problem ). She will connect you to backend cc officer. explain him your issue.Then ask the girl to send a email regarding this to a higher official. may b she will make you talk to the higher official itself. but do ask her to atleast email.Your problem will be surely solved. most probably within 2days.it worked for me very smoothly once i went to ARC.

CC is as useless as ever. I have logged so many other complaints, all simultaneously. The entire system of airtel sucks. I have a 3G connections, I don't get either 3G or EDGE signal. When I got 3G signal for a day or 2, the download speed was 0.02 Mbps.
I'm seriously thinking of moving to Vodafone, hope that they will somewhat better than this airtel.

better check out Vodafone signal in ur area before u port out 😀 in my area Airtel is able to provide more than 2MBps on 3G sm ppl are even getting 7MBps or more...Network does have problems smtimes..but before that I was on Vodafone they had much more network problems than AIrtel in the area so nt as bad as Vodafone but not as good as it use to be.

Try idea with 3g, 2 networks (idea 2g + airtel 3g) in one card. I find vodafone's call rates to be absurd.
