How often you use Google Plus?

in any case, orkut users would not like google plus. from what i remember, orkut is fairly open. there is a scrapbook which is visible to everyone. google plus has major privacy features that are complicated on facebook and pretty much non-existing on orkut. 🙂

not sure. from what i see orkut was only popular because it was open. facebook became popular because of their games/apps and perhaps groups feature.google plus is much different from either of them. it is a hybrid mixture of what twitter and facebook already offers and most of the folks are content with these two networks. most of the current users on plus are those who are unhappy with the bullcrap facebook has become over the years.

I think they need to start bringing Orkut users (I know some will say it has India/Brazil only) ... but that will be a boost...& whatever was in Buzz maybe...

Yes, it might work. And believe me, Orkut is surviving - whatever few breaths it is taking on Life support - is due to communities. Just day before yesterday, i again started it coz of that community there. So all Google needs to do is - borrow that style, make few modifications to make it look sleeker, and add its functionality of +1s & all.....thats it!

In fact, they can attract users of Orkut to try out G+ communities to start with, since Orkut is its own business after all.
