avengers is unlikely to do as well as the dark knight. the dark knight was not your typical comic based movie. 🙂
 
anyone else thinks that this movie is gonna suck based on the trailer and this teaser? it'll still make a lot of money as it is the Avengers . other than iron man , not a single other superhero got a good movie .
 
i can safely say that it is going to be an entertainer. it is however not going to match the comic books which probably had captain america in a larger role. robert downey has literally changed the movie version. from what i know ironman is a pretty much a b-grade super hero for marvel but in movies, it has turned out to be the most entertaining! both thor and captain america are rather weak characters. hulk is not being played by edward norton (though i think the replacement is decent). i do not even know the rest of the cast (the guy with the bow and arrow for example).
