MTNL Rocks...with above 3 MBPS speed UNLIMITED Plan

BSNL 3G is capable of delivering 7.2MBps....Huh... =/ May be MTNL 3G is working fully on BSNL 3G as i thought so.....!!Lol....What a combination.....UL plan of MTNL 3G with Speeds of BSNL 3G.....Its like Godlike (MTBS) or something....!!

There are also few users who have reported vice versa. MTNL's network is very much capable of delivering 7.2 Mbps speeds. MTNL just needs to flip a switch.
 
5MBps would be nice if not 7.2 MBps... 😛

I was not watching this thread last couple of days....!

A few clarifications:

1. MTNL delhi 4500 recharge cannot be done online till now.
2. You can try Paytm or rechargeguru.com for this.
3. regarding speeds... actually one should remember, when you are in roaming using bsnl tower anywhere, then you will get speed according tower which just 3mbps capable or 14 mpbs cable or 21mbps capable..

4. MTNL towers are very good when you accesing via bsnl (roam) towers...
5. gprsppsdel is right apn throught roam ( i am not sure hsdpa apn will work)
6. Currently i am in Coorg(KarnatakA) which is very hill station... high peak..But MTNL rocks...i got singal of bsnl...SUPER SPEEDS, NO DEDUCTIONS OR WHAT EVER FROM MAIN BALANCE...

SO..ENJOY unlimited internet 3g Jadoo...

yea..thanks...but we wanna know that when your FUP gets exhausted......in UL plans while roaming......do you regain the FUP data like regular MTNL users....
Like when my FUP is say 800 GB in case of 4500rs. 6 months UL...normally regular MTNL 3G users are reloaded with another 800 GB after consumption of their initial 800 GB....but what about the roaming users....?? do they get reloaded with 800 GB after their initial 800GB consumption....??
Whats your usage buddy...??? because im a heavy DOWNLOADER.....i'l b downloading like hell if i get those speeds..... 🙂

There is some good news.. It was sad, when my bsnl unlimited gone last month. I am able to get one MTNL sim for me from delhi and recharged with 4500 rs (unlimited ) for 6 months. I didnt face any problem, in roaming (chennai, bangalore) it is seamlessly working without any problem. No need of apn change is needed . It simply picks up bsnl signal and connects.. no deductions from my main balance etc....

Forutnately, i am getting very good speeds than my earlier BSNL 3g connection thouh MTNL works on BSNL singals in roaming....

Please find below screenshots from IDM and Mobilepartner for speeds... ITS TOUCHING 3 MBPS CONSTANTLY..

But when i recharged i recievd a sms that free usage of 836 GB cap).. Not sure what happens if i exceed this....not sure why they say its unlmited though i consider this enough for me....

so my 3g is back with MOST POWERFUL SPEEDS AS bonus...




this is not fair....!! i want these speeds....!!! :O

Sorry, again i was not in touch with this thread for few days...

Regarding your question about FUP, please note that there is not official word from MTNL, but they said that you wont be charged any thing after FUP finished(not sure information from them). And of our friend rightly pointed out in this forum that..if you download for 24 hours..you cannot download whole 800 gb exhausted in (180 days)..

🙂 i see practical difficulties (power cuts, slow torrents..etc and many other factors). to my experience, though I am not heavy downloader, at max you can download 1200 gb with constant speeds of 5 MBPS above for 180 days.. which is practically not possible with so many factors involved...so MTNL once said, when i asked what will happen once usage exceeds 800 GB , they smilingly said.. "first you finish that limit" 🙂 🙁 🙂.. they well know that no one constantly sits on pc to dump all internet stuff..though some user may do it...

to my opinion, ROAMING does not consittue any bearing once you finish FUP..you will get again.. I dont think I will cross 800 gb before 180 days..since I am not expensive user for downloads...🙂 all these are my personal views..just for your information.

Regarding speeds, i am very pretty much happy, that in chennai, i got very good speed constant 3 MBPS, while my previous BSNL 3g unlimited had cap of 1 MBPS cap.
I am wondering same tower giving supeb speed for MTNL roam but not existing BSNL users who is scurrently using bsnal limited plans here..

Hi Sachin,

Dont contact exchange people they never know correct information...
Check with "sanchar haat" (you will find address on mtnl website) or local franchise who know better information than MTNL employeess..

So this rs 4500 recharge for 6 months unlimited plan, is it only for the USB data stick or can I use this with a new mtnl 3g sim (dolphin I assume) for my HSDPA compatible mobile phone? In either case, how will I activate this plan? Some special coupon from Sanchar haat or just a simple recharge for the amount will be enough?

On their website I only see a rs 1650 plan for unlimited data (prepaid) in delhi 3G Prepaid
