Ending in the Hindi Singham was changed from Tamil version.
Right. That was about the only thing different. However, I still liked both
😀
2 flops in a row now! Ready and now bodyguard.
It was a flop, don't know about it financially!
Ready (2011) - IMDb
Member is banned, so I don't think there is any need to respond, though I am curious to know what he defines as a FLOP. A FLOP movie, in the industry's terms, is one which doesn't get back even 80% of its investment for its distributors. If a film did well financially to recover more than its investment (by distributors again), it simply cannot be a flop.
Ready was BIG. By no means a FLOP. It did close to 150 crores
business. The third or fourth highest grosser ever. Such films are categorised as Blockbusters (ROI > 300%). So please stop BSing. You don't like a film is one thing, calling it a flop because you didn't like it is another.
Coming to Bodyguard, the film has taken a HUGE opening. The first day is the BIGGEST ever, and that's really a lot considering the biggest days so far have been all Sundays. Dabanng made around 18 crores on its first Sunday - the previous record - and Bodyguard apparently has made something close to 20 crores, numbers not out yet.
