A Strange Problem!

i am new to this forum and need some help in my broadband.i got broadband connection yesterday. but when bsnl official started the modem, whichever site i vist it says "page cannot be displayed" or says "action cancelled".then, i tried restarting the computer. then it worked. i surfed for 10mins and switched the modem off. when i onned it back, it said, "limited or no connectivity".i again restarted the pc, then the sites worked. but now also this problem is there. please help.i have to on the modem at the time of booting itsrlf othewise it wont work. what should i do? please help...thanx in advance.....
 
you need to check your network configuration
and how are you connected ( thru LAN / USB ) ?

And how about your network configuration ?Did you check Gateway , IP address , DNS etc ...if your configuration is correct then give a written complaint to the Local Exchange .

actually what i did was like this.
i restarted the computer and the net got connected. i checked the status and found all the ip address, dns server, gateway, etc and, in the properties of this lan connection, i filled the same. i applied it and the problem got SOLVED. thanks to u.
