Vodafone sends you SMS saying caller tunes / International roaming (similar paid services) are free for a specific period. If you do not deactivate the service by yourselves they start debiting you every month. I am a prepaid customer and I was abroad for a long period of time and they have been charging me for caller tunes every month whereas I never asked for it. Similarly they have sent me SMS for Intnl roaming is free till Sep 12 and they will deduct Rs.99 every month if I do not deactivate. When I called the customer service, he put me on hold for 20 minutes saying he will check my status and I was fed up and disconnected. How can a paid service be activated without the paying customer voluntarily asking for it ? Their site has no facility for prepaid customers to manage their services. Neither there are no instructions for deactivating services other than calling customer service.Customers - beware

Vodafone is practising all kind of tricks to extract illegal money from customer so that they can compete and retain highest ARPU obtaining company. Shame on them !!!

I think we should have a vote to Ban Vodafone crappy spam all over IBF !!

I had a similar issue with Airtel and they credited me with the charges they had incorrectly charged me. However this comes at a price. At least 30 mins on phone with them and bit of mental torture. hope your bill was not a lot and gets resolved asap.

No need of ban. People who visit mobile forums regularly are aware of scripted replay of vodafone and docomo. They can fool people by spending huge money for advertisements. But they can't fool people through automated replays.
