No service requests will be entertained till the next two months!! Major Airtel software issue


After months of delay in change of bill plan, today I finally managed to reach a senior executive. He honestly said that Airtel is facing some severe issues because of a failure in its internal management software upgrade. He said that they had nearly 2.5 months of pending service requests backlogs and they will not work on new ones till the old ones are addressed.

If you are thinking of bill plan change, enabling value added services, even some forms of maintenance/repair etc. all of that will not happen for a very long time.

I really wish I had an alternative to Airtel IPTV - I just cannot get over the 7 days recorded TV program feature. I would have jumped ship from Airtel otherwise.
