Called customer cars on 121 at 1.00 AM on 27th Aug to activate GPRS pack. I was provided with a service request number 277597971 with a resolution time 7.00 AM on 28th Aug. Come on Tata Docomo.. 30 hours for simple GPRS pack activation? Even BSNL does this in less than one hour. I have also used airtel, vodafone etc. No one takes more than a couple of hours to activate a gprs pack(it's close to 12 hours since i gave request now.. but still i'm waiting for gprs pack activation)

@TATADOCOMO,My post is not for getting the resolution through this channel. GPRS pack was already activated as per the specified 30-time. The problem is, WHY SHOULD IT TAKE 30 HOURS to activate a basic service like GPRS PACK?Also, there was no sms confirmation when it got activated. You live chat support said "sms confirmations were used to be sent, but now we don't send it"Don't you think everything should be transparent? The other thing is, to activate a GPRS postpaid pack, the customer MUST call 121. There is no other way. Why is it so?Why can't the GPRS pack be activated through either SMS or USSD? Is it very hard to implement? You should address these issues right here in this forum, otherwise don't even bother to reply like your usual spamming.
