Yes even hd box has nds software. It is from humax
 
My Hathway HD STB displays a message icon on the top of the screen. However, I'm unable to navigate to the message menu to view the same.
Can anyone help?
 
I had tried everything. In the messages list, there was just a message box icon, without any subject or matter and it would not open.
Switched off the box, pulled out the card and re-inserted it. Now the icon has disappeared! Thanx boss.
 
I am having Hathway HD and working fine for the last few months.
Few weeks back, my cable operator informed that they are moving out of hathway and moving to In-Cable and promised to replace my HD box with free of cost with In-Cable one. This is happend about two weeks back and no new HD box so far.
This is big bummer as I paid 5700 for the Hathway box and I feel, I was cheated.
I tried to call Hathway but they never picked phone/always busy.
what are my options.
BTW, The In-Cable sucks and the STB is cheap chinese make. I doubt even HD box quality if at all they provide one.
I am from Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Check if there is any other LCO in the area offering Hathway. And don't exchange your STB.
Call Hathway main office to get LCO contact who's offering their connection.
 
I will try to visit their office next week, there is no use of contact them over phone.
