Which ISP should i choose ?

I'm currently using 4mbps 1799 plan of Airtelmy problem is, I applied for migrating my plan to 4mbps 150GB 2099 plan, about 2 and a half month ago, yet it is not migrated and everytime i called thm they said it will be solved in 3-4 daysafter making over 30-40 calls, i sent an email to Airtel presence, and there guy called only to tell me that i have to request the migration again and it will take next billing cycle to migrate.so, that's that, I am fed up of Airtel now, took me 3 long years, but finally i want to leave it.my main concern is Gaming, i need low latency on European servers and i can pay upto 4-5k for gud connection and reasonable data limitI noticed reliance have 8 mbps connection which is priced at 2500 inr and its data limit is 60 GBdoes not reliance have a better plan ????and i went to MTNL sanchar haat too, for VDSL connection (i have mtnl BB in my sister's room)sadly they had no Idea wtf is VDSL, they gave me a no. (1500), they dont have an idea eitherplease guide me

Reliance provides 8mbps in limited areas where they have Metro Ethernet feasibility. As you are using Airtel, same service cannot be expected with other Isp's, try Cable Broadband Services Provider in Delhi - Spectranet or try local cable waala if he servers more than 2mbps BROADBANDWALA.COM - An !dea to search broadband connection in your area.

Reliance provides 8mbps in limited areas where they have Metro Ethernet feasibility.
I called there guy, and he confirmed that 8 mbps is availaible in my area, dunno wht is METRO ETHERNET FEASIBILITY though !

like, in a good way or bad, if u you wanna say Airtel is no.1 service provider, well i Disagree, I would have agreed with you about an year ago, but thr standard is really falling.

spectranet... ammm, well, my aunt in greater noida have thr wifi connection, and thts not too great, even if i were to take there 4/6mbps plan, m not sure about the after sales service and latency etc.
and a BIG NO for local cable wala connection, i have enough of experience for not trusting them, anyway your are talking about 2 MBPS while i was asking above 8-10
and that website is bull***t.

I am sorry but when i used craptel, It was awesome in terms of service or uptime. I dont know about others, I left them long back when i found tariff was high 256k unlimited for 799 (4 years back). Now even i dont have idea about their service, but plans are utter crap!

May be you should go with Reliance, I wonder how good their service is in your area.
Hayai launch may god knows, If they launch and provide in 4 complete areas of mumbai by the end of this year.

i would personally suggest sticking to airtel for now. a couple of months and hayai might arrive in delhi.

its now the matter of my self respect actuallywell, it all begin like thisi was using 50gb plan (4mbps) for several months, i was getting used to it nowthey launched new plans with fup limit increased, and as soon as i found out i requested for one (150 GB/2099) on 11th of june, thy told me it will be migrated on my next billing cycle. i.e 17th of junethen after 20th june, i thought i might ask thm about migration, i called thm only to know it has not been migrated, he apologized and said it will be, in 3-4 days.it is 25th august now, u can do the maths. In pas 2 months i have called thm 30-40 times and everytime thy said it will be migrated soon.and this is not it. last time i called thm (19th aug), the executive asked me to request again and so it can be migrated on next billing cycle (17th sept)i asked him to cancel my subscription. thn they called me back offering 500 rs discount etci said rather take 500 extra but migrate me to plan in question, the guy talked to his senior and said it will be done in 3 days, and its 6th day now, not a word frm thm :ltell me if I'm wrong to cancel my subscription now, PS : i have used my 25 out of 50 GB thinking tht i'm on 150gb plan now and its only a week in billig cycle 🙁PPS : also mailed to nodal, applet and airtel presence about my situation, yet no help

have fun then. airtel might be annoying at times. but at least the quality of connectivity is worth the mess. i had prefer to have a reliable connection that is slow than a unreliable connection that is fast.

can u tell me about latency of reliance and spectranet please, i have searched the forums but didnt find anything about itthank you for replying btw

post new threads in respective forums with exact data you need. information might be already available somewhere. but it is better to ask again. post details on your region and the servers you want others to check. you might be able to get good responses.

Not to make this personal but, I'd rather use a more reliable service than waste my time and energy on a crappy provider just because of my ego. I'm not asking you to stick with airtel, but dumping them just beacuse you feel that your self respect has been dented would be lame. 🙂

ur lucky that ur in Delhi.......go with MTNL Delhi dude currently probly the best ISP in Delhi there is NO FUP on the Unlth plans...1MBps is for Rs 999....... 2MBps is for Rs 1899... Broadband
